I received this washer without delay. It has performed admirably so far. I used it twice for extended jobs, washing my driveway, and washing the side of the house. The hose connection leaks some, I added a washer and tried to tighten as much as possible without breaking the plastic connector, but it still leaked. Not a major problem.

Perfect for home use

True, I read the reviews here first before buying. I've only used it a couple times but it does a fine job. I didn't want something too strong, just good enough to clean my wood deck w/out peeling off the paint. It did a fine job cleaning the sandstone around my pool too. It's not too big, easy to set up, works fine even with low pressure. Time will tell how durable it is.

I bought this unit on the basis of good recommendations at Amazon's website. I used it twice and it's broken. The interior parts are plastic...only bonded together, and the bond broke in the "gun" which renders the device useless. I cannot get to anyone at the company. On disassembly to see if I could fix it, I find the parts to be flimsy, they're fit together poorly, and really should not be expected to last long, given the shoddy manufacture. I went to their website for a local Service Center, hoping to get the part to fix it myself. Their "service center" guy said "what do you expect?" and and recommended that I not bother.

Stay away from this unit. Maybe from this company.

If you've shopped pressure washers, you should know how great a buy this is!

Not real sure what the difference is, but the product listed is for the 3025 OH, I received a 3050 OH. Looking at the Karcher site, there appears to be no difference. Perhaps the 3050 OH is a newer model.

I've used a number of pressure washers over the years. Mostly the vertical coil engines that you find on the lower price point machines. But since we're talking price point, this is where this recertified machine shines, the price is astounding! The ones you'll see in your local Sunday paper from that store we all know are about $299. For about $30 more, you're getting the Honda engine with horizontal coils, instead of the Briggs and Stratton. If you go to the CPO Karcher site, the unit is $20 more for the recertified model. A new unit is pushing $500!

This really is far quieter than the vertical coiled B&S Engine, you can probably safely get by without using hearing protection on this unit. I'd recommend it with the Sunday paper $299 unit! The base prices ones in the paper are also going to be in the lower 2,000 PSI range, which isn't ample if you're looking to do paint prep on wood surfaces, which was one of my requirements.

The spray wand on this unit has quick change nozzles. I actually prefer this over the wands that you twist to adjust the spray pattern. I've always ended up with leaking spray heads on those adjustable nozzles.

Change your oil! It is easy and is the best thing that you can do to preserve the engine which is after all the majority of the cost for a pressure washer. This unit comes with oil. The recommendation is to change the initial oil after 5 hours of use. I plan on switching to a synthetic oil once that five hours has been completed.

Don't forget to store your unit in a freeze free location with pump saver Karcher Pump Guard in the down times. The instructions recommend winterizing the unit, but I recommend that you put the pump saver into the unit if it will sit idle for more than 30 days. It will help prevent the seals from drying out.

Once you have a pressure washer, you'll wonder how you got by without it. There are so many things that are made easier having a pressure washer! All those spider webs that you get on your porch? Use a broom and you just end up pushing them around, and they turn to that nasty dirt color. Blast them away and be gone for good!

One thing that wasn't specified in the product description here is the detergent pickup. This unit does come with the pickup tube to put into a detergent solution. Some of the lower cost units, make it a selling point to put the detergent container on board. This turns into a mess. You're limited to the small tank which they give you, and inevitably there will be residue left in there that you can't get cleaned up.

Another option for this model is the fresh water pickup kit Karcher Water Suction Kit for Electric Pressure Washers. You can get an additional filter kit and if you have a FRESH water source available, use that to supply the water needs. I live on a fresh water creek, so I will certainly be exploring this item! The linked product description says it is for electric units, but the owner's manual specifies that there is a water suction kit available. I'm not yet sure if there is a different model for gas or what.

Few notes about cleaning. I did our front concrete patio today and it removed white and green paint from when the previous owner apparently did some painting! Of course it removed (without detergents) all the mildew that had accumulated on the concrete.

I also used it on my car to remove sap from a poplar tree near my driveway. No problem with that of course, also knocked off all the brake dust with no effort. Again, no detergent used!

There have been a lot of notes about shipping damage on the machines. My box arrived in perfect condition, and the unit looks brand new. Don't be afraid of this like new recertified unit!

Great product, however I would recommend buying from CPO

We have a 1200 square foot cedar deck overlooking Rock Creek. We live in the woods with no high speed Internet service available. A friend let me watch the Karcher Video Library on his high speed Internet connection. After watching most of the videos I realized much of the information given was product advertising and the rest, was simply using ...common sense.

For example, in the video 'Cleaning a deck' the black nozzle was shown blowing leaves and debris off a deck preparing it for cleaning. The black nozzle has less pressure than a shower head! Why waste the power and gas of this brute using the black nozzle? Instead, use the 'white' nozzle and backup a little so as to not do damage. I used it to wash my car and it's the first time the wheels have looked so clean in years.

I also noticed, in the videos, they try and sell various accessories which are not necessary and are very costly. For example, why use a detergent? Again, use the lower pressure nozzle 'white' and using caution, start further away and move closer to the object your trying to clean until it is clean.

One of the most important maintenance procedures in-order to preserve the engine's life, is to keep the engine oil clean by changing it often. However, the Honda Engines Owner's Manual shows, on page 5, the drain plug is on the same side of the engine as the oil filler cap/dipstick. The first time I changed the oil it was very difficult because there is no room on the frame for a drip pan. I tried titling the unit and holding it over a drip pan but it still leaked oil all over. Upon examining the engine I noticed a second drain plug on the opposite side of the engine and a 'cut out' space under the drain plug. Karcher should let their customers know, in their manual, about this frame modification which works great when changing the engine oil. After cutting a empty plastic milk container in half, so it will fit under the hole in the frame, I now can change the oil, mess free.

The pressure washer itself is a great product. Karcher's marketing and service departments should be more consumer friendly and communicate verbally with its customers.

I'm so glad I felt led by my precious 'Lord Jesus' to buy through CPO. Great service and very a helpful sales-force, but not the type of staff that leaves you with a 'warm-fuzzy' feeling. I believe this might be the case because CPO, a distributor for Karcher products, does not know with certainty if their requests, made to Karcher, will be handled in a satisfactory manner.

Great product, great price, very pleased.

I received my Karcher pressure washer quickly and in excellent condition although the handle bars were punched through the side of the box. The pressure washer appeared to be brand new, not a scratch and included all of the parts it was supposed to have. I did my homework on Karcher as with anything I buy and at regular price this pressure washer is a smart purchase but at this price this equipment is a steal! Amazon did a great job as always.

CPO Karcher won't stand behind prodcut

I purchased a Karcher G3025 OH-R (reconditioned) through Amazon. Made mistake of not starting it immediately- 30 day warranty! I tried to start it two months after purchase, and motor has no compression. Neither Amazon nor CPO will help me. I now have a large paper weight! I won't buy from either company again.

Very good product, it looks like new and works like new, started at the 3rd pull, I never owned a pressure washer, I did the siding of my whole house, it took about 3 hours and I had no problems with it, just added oil wich was included, put fuel in it and had fun, why buy new if you can save about 100 bucks.
I'm very satisfied customer.

Great Washer - bad service

The Pressure washer itself is great. Looks like a new unit and performs very well. The variable pressure wand is really nice when you need to use a little less pressure, or if you need quite a bit of pressure, or anything in between. The second wand is for high pressure needs and from what I saw, it really is quite a bit more pressure than the variable wand.

The only problem I had was when the washer arrived, the trigger gun was missing from the box. Apparently, the manufacturer has had a problem with this as CPO Karcher said they have had a few of these missing in the original shipment. They ordered me a replacement Trigger Gun from Karcher. After waiting for it 3 days, I called and found out it could be 2 weeks or more to get the replacement gun. I threatened to send the unit back and they offered to send me an entire replacement washer. The manager said it would come to me overnight, but it took 5 days to get it.

The replacement trigger gun finally showed up over 3 weeks after I received the original washer. Seems to me like customer service is not a strong suit of Karcher's.

I'm Happy with it...

I have a large ( +1000 square foot) deck that requires regular restaining.
Using my gas powered pressure washer works fine , but it's heavy and bringing it up on the deck ( six steps ) requires more effort than I like . Also the first time each season , after sitting for months , it's
hard to start. My wife could never manage to start it.

This electric unit does a good job of general cleaning and has enough power with the "jet" wand to remove the stain to bare wood. A little slower than the gas powered PW, but better control and doesn't damage the wood. My wife can use it and she never felt comfortable with the more powerful gas unit.

The cord length and hose length combo is sufficient to reach all corners of the 40 foot long deck without changing the supply hose or changing outlets.

We used it for about 6 hours and never had any problem with the electric cutting in and out as some have mentioned. It started and stopped just like I would like it to , and was much more convenient than starting and stopping a gas powered unit every time I had to apply new cleaner to an area.

The only complaint I have is the bottom of the hose holder ( a snap in )
will pop off. I just put a small piece of duct tape in the right place and it's fine now ( I just LOVE Duct Tape ).

Overall I'm happy with the unit and would recommend it.

Factory Reconditioned Karcher 1,850 PSI GPM electric Pressure Washer K 5.85 MR

We bought the above electric pressure washer which we cannot use, because water just pours out of the handle of the Trigger gun, so there is no pressure. Have sent off an email to Karcher nearly two weeks ago and up to now we haven't heard anything, so unless we receive a new Trigger gun, we cannot rate it. Would like a replacement Trigger gun. Thank you.

karcer pressure washer - great product

I was very pleased with this purchase. It is a very heavy duty machine that I have now used for over 20 hours for deck cleaning with no problems. Appears very well made. I would highly recommentd it. Instruction manual is a little sparse.

I have had this for about a month now and it works great. I bought this Karchner electric washer to replace a Campbell Hausfeld gas washer that died. This washer is sooooooo much better than the gas one. The CH gas model was more powerful but I didn't need that power anyway. So far I have cleaned the brick/slate walkway and refinished my deck. In both instances the Karchner performed admirably. I highly recommend this unit to Joe Homeowner for common cleaning tasks. Next up for me is to clean the siding.

Karcher House SoapPac fills the bill.

This product did an excellent job. We are "winter Texans" so our mobile home had not been pressure washed for a full year so was very dirty. This soap did the trick. The secret is to use it in the shade or on a cloudy day and give it time to work.

Easy to Use - Works well

The benefit of the SoapPac is that they are very easy to use - you just drop them into a bucket of water and gently agitate prior to using. The SoapPac lathers well and has a pleasing but-not-to-strong scent. I will also second the recommendation that for best results it is best if the soap has time sit and work. This is not difficult on cloudy days, but it will be much more difficult on a warm sunny day.

I did take one star off due to the cost - these Pacs are more costly than I expected. However, they do a fine job and are simple to use -
